Music meets visual art on the walls of Chelsea’s Spencer Loft Gallery at the “See the Sound” exhibit featuring the music photography of Brooklyn based photographer, Michael Weintrob.

Images exhibited will include candid and live performance shots spanning many artists and genres, all of which were taken during Weintrob’s global travels during the last decade. “It’s truly a pleasure to have such captivating work from one of the music photography world’s rising stars in our gallery,” said Darlene DeVita, director of Spencer Loft Gallery. “Michael truly has an eye and passion for his work that shows in each of his photos, no matter the subject.”

“See the Sound” exhibit runs September 5-28, 2008 and is opening on Friday September 5, 2008 from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday Sept. 6th 12 - 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 7 from 12 – 4 p.m. Guests are invited to attend the “Meet the Artist” receptions to be held during these times. Limited edition, signed prints of featured work will also be available for purchase.
